What is a campaign?

Admins can use campaign as an engaging broadcast mechanism which allows them to -

  • Increase the usage and interest in the chatbots among employees(example - Launch a campaign asking your employees to thank their peers using Thanks bot)
  • Increase visibility post Bot launch(example - Encourage users to use Acronym bot for their work related jargons/acronyms)
  • Make important announcements and share major updates(You can communicate positive developments like client wins, new product launches, etc.)
  • Track the status of engagement and effectiveness of your outreach via the campaign through in-depth analytics

Create a new campaign!

  • Go to the required bot dashboard and choose the Campaign tab on the left-hand side.
  • Click on Create New Campaign
  • Provide a name for your campaign and an approporiate description. Click on Create
  • Enter the message for your campaign. You can also add an image or video file along with it! Click on the Save button when you are sure with your content.
  • Now you can choose the users you wish to send the campaign to. The bot would give you three options -
    • All users - The bot send a Workchat notifcation to all the users in the company.
    • Specific groups - The bot send a Workchat notifcation to the Workplace group(s) you specify. Please ensure that you are the admin of the group(s) you enter.
    • Specific users - The bot send a Workchat notifcation to all the users whose emails you would enter in the specified excel format.
    Click on the Save button after you have made the required changes.
  • You're all set! Click on Preview in Workchat if you want to see check how your campaign looks like. The bot would then send you a preview of your campaign on your Workchat. If you are happy with what you see, go ahead and click Send to All

Create a quick campaign

You can choose to launch a campaign quickly if you don't wish to attach media files and would be sending out to all users or specific groups(not using excel upload for specifying the audience for the campaign)

  • Go to the required bot dashboard and choose the Campaign tab on the left-hand side.
  • Click on Create Quick Campaign
  • Provide a name for your campaign and an approporiate description.
  • Choose the target audience -
    • All users - The bot send a Workchat notifcation to all the users in the company.
    • Specific groups - The bot send a Workchat notifcation to the Workplace group(s) you specify. Please ensure that you are the admin of the group(s) you enter.
    • Click on the Create button
  • You're all set! Click on Preview in Workchat if you want to see check how your campaign looks like. The bot would then send you a preview of your campaign on your Workchat. If you are happy with what you see, go ahead and click Send to All

  • Click on your campaign on the dashboard and view the details!
