Overview - Feedback Bot

Feedback bot enables team to easily share and gather feedback with their subordinates, peers and managers.

What makes it so special??

Share and gather feedback with peers!

User can ask their co-workers to provide feedback for them and also provide feedback to their peers. All of this and more via Workchat itself!

Employees can gather feedback on their own or other colleagues' performance by asking their peers - via Workchat!

  • Click on the persistent menu button on the left-hand side Feedbak bot chat interface
  • Click on Actions
  • Click on Peer Feedback followed by Ask for Feedback(for yourself or others)
  • A web-view window would open up asking you to enter following details -
    • For whom is this feedback? - Your name would appear pre-selected(you can remove it). Select one or more peers for whom you wish to collect feedback. If you want the feedback to be just for yourself, proceed to the next step.
    • What is this feedback for? - Describe briefly why you want this feedback. For example - "Please provide feedback on my performance as your Team lead for current quarter"
    • Who do you want this feedback from? - Add the names of your peers from whom you want the feedback to be collected.
  • Your peers would be notified about your feedback request. You will be notified whenever the submit the feedback.

Employees can share their feedback on their peers' performance - via Workchat!

  • Click on Actions
  • Click on Manager Feedback followed by Give Feedback
  • A web-view window would open up asking you to enter following details -
    • For whom is this feedback? - Enter the name of your peer for whom you are sharing the feedback
    • What is this feedback about? - Please provide some context for your feedback. For example - "Feedback on your performance in the last quarter"
    • What's one thing they did really well? - Mention and acknowledge peer's fruitful contributions to the team and organisation. For example - "I really liked the ownership you took on the client project we handled recently!"
    • What's one thing they can do to have more impact? - Mention your peer's drawbacks or areas of improvement. For example - "I think you should be more vocal in team meetings."
  • Your peers would be notified about your feedback,

Assess the performance of your team - Manager Feedback!

Manager feedback provides a mechanism to managers to regularly ask their team members for feedback. Also, the members get a chance to find manager's review on their self-evaluation. It can also help supervisors in conducting smooth Performance reviews!

  • Click on Manage tab on the Feedback bot dashboard. Choose Manager Feedback and click on Add Feedback. You would need to provide a title and description for your feedback.
  • On the Questions tab, click on Add, you can then choose to add a Section or Question. It is advised to add your questions under different sections. For example - Planning and discussions, Challenges and Learnings,etc.
  • Click on Publish to publish your feedback. It will then trigger the notification to your target set of users(managers).
Create a Manager Feedback
Settings

You can configure the following settings for your Manager Feedback -

  • Nudge frequency
    Time period between two nudges(in hours)
  • Manager Nudge Limit
    Maximum number of reminders that should be sent to manager for initiating a feedback
  • Prompt Message
    You can customise the prompt you wish to send to the managers -so that they initate the feedback to their team members.
  • Recurring feedback
    Choose if you wish to make the feedback recurring(if yes, choose the date and time)
  • Expiry days
    Number of days after which the feedback would expire
  • Expiry message
    Customise the expiry message - that will be triggered to the concerned users(managers) when the feedback is expired.
  • Review Feedbackk
    Choose if you want to allow managers to review the Manager Feedback response of their reportees
Feedback Controls

You can choose the Target users(manager) to whom your feedback would be triggered

  • All Managers
  • Managers of specific groups

In the Workchat window, click on Actions, choose Manager Feedback. Click on View Feedback. If you are a manager, you will have the option to view two tabs -

  • Team Feedback - List all the feedbacks triggered by you for the team and their responses. You can see which of the feedbacks are incomplete, pending for your review, and complete.
  • My feedback - Lists all the feedbacks triggered to you.

As a normal user, only My Feedback would be listed.

Managers can view the feedback timelines and status(incomplete, pending review, or complete).

They can initiate actions like Review and Nudge (a prompt message sent to users who have not yet completed the feedback).

Gather feedback from peers, supervisors and subordinates - 360˚ Feedback!

With 360˚ feedback, employees can collect feedback from their subordinates, colleagues or superiors!

  • Increases self-awareness
  • Measures progress and "how" tasks are done along with "what all tasks are done"
  • Promotes healthy interaction
  • Improves working relationships
  • Promotes employees' personal and professional development at work

Click on Actions button on the Workplace chat window for Feedback bot. Choose 360˚ Feedback and click on Ask for Feedback.

You would need to choose a User Category under which you want to seek Feedback. Also, you would be required to submit a self-evaluation before asking out your peers. Later, in reports you would be able to view comparative reports for your evaulation(with respect to the feedback provided by your peers)

User categories can be defined as various user roles/positions of responbility that an employee may have! It allows employees to seek a feedback from various perspectives. Examples of user cateogories can be - Team leader, Business Head, Department head, etc. Admins can add and configure various User categories for their organisation.

On the Feedback bot dashboard, click on Manage tab and choose 360˚ feedback. On the User Categories tab, click on Add User Category and provide the title and description of your category.

You can choose the Target users(manager) to whom your feedback would be triggered

  • All Managers
  • Managers of specific groups

Click on Actions button on the Workplace chat window for Feedback bot. Choose 360˚ Feedback and click on View Feedback.

You can view the

  • Recieved Feedback - Gives you illustrated reports with contrasting analysis between the evaluation submitted by you and the feedback provided by your peers. You can view a comprehensive report with all comments, Improvement scope(with highlighted gaps), and more!

  • Given Feedback - would list down all the feedbacks given by you to your peers.
